Stearns Wharf Clubhouse

Being completed in phases, The Stearns Wharf Clubhouse is located in Santa Barbara, CA and will be remodeled to update and improve the interior elements. Keeping in the buildings’ existing Mediterranean architectural style, the designer has chosen to emphasize and enhance its features of interior columns and high coffered ceilings. Phase I of the improvements will include the entrance loggia, reception area, trophy gallery, offices, meeting rooms, and the dining loggia. Phase II will include the grill room, banquet rooms, and the bar and lounge areas.

Turquoise Bar & Restaurant

Turquoise is a bar and restaurant that takes its inspiration from the western building in which it is situated, and the turquoise jewelry made by Native Americans. The interior furnishings and light fixtures are contemporary in style and the finishes are western in feel and color palette. Rock veneer covers the existing columns, refurbished sliding barn doors are used as the entrance for the private dining rooms. A mixture of turquoise, red and wood mosaic tiles will be used throughout the space to complete the look. The main dining area has the capacity to seat 48, at different table sizes, so the occasional needed six top can be created. The bar can accommodate 24 with room to spill over into the lounge area as well. Customers from the surrounding businesses, university campus, and families from the Phoenix Metro area will be attracted to and enjoying this restaurant. The Executive Chef has decided to serve lunch and dinner with optimal experiences for business lunches, special occasions, and private functions. Soundproof glass, wall mounted wine storage racks, and minimal service stations for the wait staff will act as buffers and keep noise in specific areas. The front of house required a furniture layout that maintained a luxurious atmosphere for guests, but also maintained functional usability for staff.
