Turquoise is a bar and restaurant that takes its inspiration from the western building in which it is situated, and the turquoise jewelry made by Native Americans. The interior furnishings and light fixtures are contemporary in style and the finishes are western in feel and color palette. Rock veneer covers the existing columns, refurbished sliding barn doors are used as the entrance for the private dining rooms. A mixture of turquoise, red and wood mosaic tiles will be used throughout the space to complete the look. The main dining area has the capacity to seat 48, at different table sizes, so the occasional needed six top can be created. The bar can accommodate 24 with room to spill over into the lounge area as well. Turquoise has 2 private dining rooms, both with acoustical privacy from the dining area, located next to the newly relocated stairs to the loft above, which can be used at a later date. Tangerine Children's Apparel

The designer was asked by Brooks and Parsons Inc. to design a new specialty store for the company. Working with the marketing consultant, the designer has determined that a children's specialty retail store, will be more profitable inside the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall in downtown Scottsdale, Arizona.  Brooks and Parsons Inc. will be doing business as Tangerine Children's Apparel and the boutique will carry children's clothing and shoes ages 5 to 10. Being located in a corner cap of the mall, the lease space will contain 50% glass and a total of 1,020 square feet. The windows at the front of the retail space are designed to entice customers to enter with playful displays and an obstructed view of new merchandise inside. The designer has chosen to incorporate materials and design aesthetics that follow suite with other high- end boutiques located inside the mall. Hotel Elemental

Hotel Elemental is an independently owned and operated boutique hotel that will cater to the weekend traveler and staycationer. Located in San Fransisco, CA the three-story building has views of the bay and the Bay Bridge, and it will feature an eclectic mix of vintage and modern furnishings, classic bohemian characteristics, and unique design features that implement the four elements of fire, water, earth, and wind. The hotel will consist of 10 guest rooms with on suite bathrooms, ranging in square footage and in-room accommodations. There will also be a lobby with front desk area and a bar and lounge are for guest’s enjoyment. A range of services will also be available to guests, including room service, cocktail hour, a general store, and a rooftop pool and hot tub. Located on the rooftop along with the pool and hot tub is the hotel’s dessert bar. Open to the public, the dessert bar is a special place for enjoying dessert, wine, and appetizers.
